Growing up on a sailboat in San Francisco harbor was probably a good indicator that Andreane’s sense of adventure and natural interest in exploration would be well developed. Later residences in three countries: Brazil, Canada (Province of Quebec) and here in the US developed her fluency in French and English, and proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish. And with a passion for trekking and exploration, she gets the opportunity to use her language skills often, having traveled to more than 30 countries.
Well-traveled Andreane graduated from Laval University in Quebec City with a degree in business and finance, which she attended while working at a Canadian financial services provider, Desjardins, in the Pension Plan and Private Wealth Management groups. This early love of business led her to continuing her education in the states, earning her MBA in Investment Finance from Northeastern University. While there she did her Corporate Residency at Wellington Management, where she stayed on following graduation, which helped to refine her interest in wealth management, using her skills to develop new investment strategies, conduct market and competitor research, as well as produce product and market commentary.
Andreane’s role at Heritage is research focused, leveraging her CFA working with Michael and Bob to identify and define future relationships with investment opportunities and building portfolios. Her finance background and strong experience in financial research serves her well in this role, and the growing needs of our clients will certainly continue to create increasing demands for effectively identifying new opportunities.
Andreane is a CFA® Charterholder, and when she’s not working you will find her on a sailboat somewhere in Boston Harbor, or trekking across the globe.
