Born and raised in Glenview, Illinois, Tim developed an early passion for trading capital markets. On a 4th grade field trip to the Chicago Board of Trade he attempted to trade via hand signals from the visitor’s gallery overlooking the trading pits. His initiative caught the attention of a floor trader, who later introduced himself to the class and explained the basics of commodities trading.
Tim pursued his passion at Marquette University, where he earned a degree in Finance. After graduation, he accepted a position with Eldorado Trading Group, a proprietary trading firm in Chicago. For the next 12 years, he specialized in trading short-term interest rate derivatives and assisted with an expansion of the algorithmic capabilities of the firm while navigating market volatility and always pursuing best execution.
While born, raised, and educated in the Midwest, Tim ultimately met and married a Wellesley, Massachusetts native. He followed his wife, Megan, back to the east coast where Tim took a position as a Trading Analyst at Manulife in Boston.
In 2022, Tim joined Heritage as Head Trader, fulfilling a desire to bring his extensive trading experience to a smaller firm with strong client relationships. Tim and his wife currently live in Needham with their three daughters, spending time at the beach in Chatham, Cape Cod whenever they get the chance.
