Hanna was born in Colombia and spent the first four years of her life there. She came to the United States in 1997 when her family moved to Framingham, Massachusetts. Always a good student, Hanna studied at Framingham High School, then at University of Massachusetts and later transferred to Bentley University to major in economics and finance.
Hanna’s interest in wealth management was piqued during her internship at a financial planning firm in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where she assisted wealth advisors for a semester. Upon graduation, Hanna joined Brown Brothers Harriman where she was responsible for preparing financial reports for hedge funds and private equity funds.
Hanna joined Heritage in 2016 as a paraplanner supporting multiple wealth management teams. Within a year, she was promoted to wealth advisor, attending client review meetings, addressing client requests, and coordinating with clients’ accountants, attorneys, and other advisors to ensure that all facets of their finances are well-covered. Today, she is a Senior Advisor, developing service deliverables that will help Heritage stay at the forefront of our industry and leading a select group of Heritage clients in meeting their financial goals.
Hanna is a Certified Financial Planner®. In her free time she enjoys reading Spanish literature and exploring quaint coffee shops and restaurants around Boston. Hanna and her husband welcomed their first child, Liam in 2021.
