Hanna was born in Colombia and spent the first four years of her life there. She came to the United States in 1997 when her family moved to Framingham, Massachusetts. Always a good student, Hanna studied at Framingham High School, then at University of Massachusetts and later transferred to Bentley University to major in Economics and Finance.
Hanna’s interest in wealth management was piqued during her internship at a financial planning firm in Wellesley, Massachusetts, where she assisted wealth advisors for a semester. Upon graduation, Hanna joined Brown Brothers Harriman where she was responsible for preparing financial reports for hedge funds and private equity funds.
Hanna joined Heritage in 2016 as a paraplanner supporting multiple wealth management teams. Within a year, she was promoted to Wealth Advisor where she attended client review meetings, addressed client requests, and coordinated with clients’ accountants, attorneys, and other advisors to ensure that all facets of their finances are well-covered.
Today, Hanna is a Senior Advisor and leads the Heritage Generations Group, which is our wealth management offering for the adult children of our clients. She helps guide them as they get started financially and addresses the main financial planning topics impacting the next generation such as starting a family, student loans, and purchasing their first home.
Hanna is a Certified Financial Planner®. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their children, Liam and Camila, and dog, Mylo.
