As a Vermont native, Jackson technically learned to walk before he started skiing, although it was not by much. Both skills proved critical to his future athletic endeavors as his early affinity with youth soccer evolved into a starring role playing for Deerfield Academy, and his natural affinity for being on the slopes has led to a lifelong passion.
Enrolling at Middlebury College, Jackson was in an ideal place to continue his pursuits. He was a shutdown defenseman on the soccer team, where they recorded 9 shutouts his senior year. In the classroom, he gravitated towards economics and developed a strong interest in the impact macroeconomic movements have on market performance. This financial curiosity brought him to Heritage, where he interned in the summer of 2018.
Today in his paraplanner role at Heritage supporting Jim Scally, Sammy Azzouz, and Matt Carron’s teams Jackson works with clients on assembling data and building the documentation necessary for maintaining financial plans.
When he’s not on a mountain, Jackson continues to follow all New England sports, but reserves his true fandom for the UK football’s Manchester United.
