Growing up in a military family, Daniel experienced many different cultures as he traveled between Massachusetts, Florida and Germany. He focused on keeping physically active playing pickup basketball and football and working two jobs.
When Daniel wasn’t working he was following stock quotes in newspapers, which led him to pursue a career in Finance at Bentley University. He kept his cultural education alive by studying abroad his junior year in Hong Kong. Upon graduation, Daniel returned to Hong Kong to work for Morgan Stanley in their equity operations department, later moving into a trading role. With experience in equities transactions Daniel accepted a trade execution position with Credit Suisse. After spending a total of thirteen years in Hong Kong, Daniel and his family were ready to move back to the states, but weren’t ready to pass up the Thai food.
Now settled in Massachusetts, Daniel joined Heritage in 2019 as Heritage’s Trader. In this role his responsibilities include day-to-day management of the firm’s sophisticated trading system, including portfolio implementation, rebalancing of clients’ accounts, and addressing client requests.
An avid traveler, Daniel enjoys watching all the New England sports teams in real time as the 13-hour time difference was a bit exhausting. In addition his energetic son and two Shiba Inu dogs, MJ and Rondo, keep him on his toes. Daniel and his wife like to stay active by running and hiking at local trails. They both remain steadfast in their pursuit of an impeccable Thai restaurant in the area!
