The 2018 Boston MS Muckfest is now complete, but with donations still coming in the Greater Boston MS Society has now raised over $690,000 from this years event! This record setting performance was achieved with the participation of over 5,000 volunteers, guests and “Muckers” who ran, jumped, swam and crawled through a muddy 5K course filled with obstacles to raise money for MS research.
Led by Chuck Bean, our own team, “The Dirty Mucks”, was composed of friends, relatives and Heritage family who joined to share their enthusiasm for this annual event. On what was a very rainy and unseasonably chilly day, Dirty Muck participants from age 8 to over 50 brought the enthusiasm and sunshine throughout the event, laughing through every muddy obstacle, and completing the course with a record number of smiles.
And the best part of the entire day was the end result: this year The Dirty Mucks raised over $48,000 from this single event, claiming the top fundraiser spot of all teams nationally! Join us next year for this incredibly messy fun, become a part of a great team, and support a great cause.
