Gretchen inherited a love for travel from her parents. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a focus on business and communications, Gretchen backpacked across Europe, Africa and Asia for five months. This exposed her to different cultures and ways of life that makes her appreciate the freedoms and opportunities she has.
Gretchen started her career at Fidelity, marketing for institutional products. Then, she worked at Wit Capital in New York, researching equities in various sectors, before rejoining Fidelity as a product analyst. When her father needed help with selling his health care business, Gretchen joined the family business – researching buyers, prepping the business for sale, and investing the post-sale proceeds. During that time, Gretchen earned her MBA from Babson College, with a focus on family business; became a member of the Institute for Private Investors; and obtained a certificate in personal wealth management from Wharton’s Executive Education Program at University of Pennsylvania.
In 2014, Gretchen joined Fidelity’s Family Office Services Group to lead their ‘Insights & Connections’ program. Desiring more technical experience in personal wealth management, Gretchen joined Heritage in 2015. Gretchen works with Chuck Bean and Joe Arsenault, tending to client requests, preparing for client review meetings, and facilitating potential clients through the firm’s unique three meeting process.
Gretchen is working on her Certified Financial Planner certification. She likes to stay active with yoga, golf, skiing and of course, travel. Gretchen lives in South Boston with her husband, Lincoln; son, Myles; and their golden retriever, Ruby.
